Mermaids Laundry

Mermaids Laundry is a clean, coastal fragrance built around the contrast of sea and sun-dried linen. Orange blossom and cotton blossom open against sea salt — bright, soft, and a little sweet. Fresh linen carries the heart: the exact scent of fabric that has dried in open air. Sandalwood and a powdery musk settle the base into something warm and lasting. Light this in a bedroom, a hallway, or any room you want to smell like it gets good light and a cross-breeze.

Hand-poured in Sarasota, Florida in small batches. Wax blend: soy-coconut. Wick: cotton-core. Net weight: 8 oz. Estimated burn time: 45–55 hours. Vessel: reusable glass tumbler — clean with warm soapy water once the candle is spent. Free of paraffin, phthalates, and parabens. Every batch is made in small quantities, which means minor variation between pours is part of the craft.

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. On the first burn, allow the wax to reach a full melt pool — typically 2 to 3 hours — to prevent tunneling. Keep away from drafts, pets, and children. Never burn unattended. Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains.
