Sarasota Sunshine

Florida light has a quality all its own — sharp and salt-edged in the early morning, softening toward afternoon. Sarasota Sunshine opens with sea salt, grapefruit, and orange peel: bright, clean, and immediate. Coconut and fresh cotton carry the middle notes, easy and unhurried. Amber and a light musk anchor the dry-down into something warm without turning heavy. It is a candle for rooms that face the morning, or for recreating that particular feeling of stepping outside and having the air be exactly right.

Hand-poured in Sarasota, Florida in small batches. Wax blend: soy-coconut. Wick: cotton-core. Net weight: 8 oz. Estimated burn time: 45–55 hours. Vessel: reusable glass tumbler — clean with warm soapy water once the candle is spent. Free of paraffin, phthalates, and parabens. Every batch is made in small quantities, which means minor variation between pours is part of the craft.

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. On the first burn, allow the wax to reach a full melt pool — typically 2 to 3 hours — to prevent tunneling. Keep away from drafts, pets, and children. Never burn unattended. Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains.
